The flagship of Thai Silk Restaurants, located in Southwark,
immediately behind Southwark Jubilee Line Underground Station,
and just 5 minutes walk from Waterloo Station, is an absolute
'must' for lunch or dinner. The authentic interior decor,
featuring beautiful Thai artefacts, and the healthy Thai
cuisine ensure that patrons enjoy a memorable visit every
time. Since opening Thai Silk Southwark has proved to be
a very successful meeting place, for its many contented
and repeat Customers. Thank you to all our regulars for
making us the place you like to eat and drink at.
We have managed to keep all
our Menu & Drinks prices down as much as possible and
still run our Value for Money Lunch & 5-7 specials. The
new Bar Menu and Chef’s Recommendations are looking
really good and great feedback on the new dishes has been
coming in. We have increased the amount of Delivery Drivers,
as this aspect of Thai Silk has become very popular.
Upstairs at Thai Silk there
are 2 Executive Meeting or Party Rooms, fitted with WiFi and
Powerpoint Presentation Equipment, Karaoke machines and even
a full size simulated Golf Course. All facilities are available
for use --- but booking is required.
The restaurant has seating capacity
for 120 whilst the Bar has capacity for 100 patrons. Sections
of The Restaurant & Bar can be independently reserved
for Office Parties, Celebrations, Leaving Parties or for just
general enjoyment
On Friday evenings we encourage
our Customers to let their hair down a bit and we have employed
a resident DJ in the Bar area, our Customers really appreciate
this evening and the noise levels are higher than usual. Security
has also been stepped up and we would ask all our Customers
to understand their job is not an easy one and please comply
with any requests they might ask of you
We have now subscribed to both
services and will be able to show all of 2008’s Sporting
Events in 2008

Diners & Drinkers at Thai
Silk are still able to Drink and Dine al fresco outside our
Bar & Restaurant areas, as we now have four huge umbrellas,
installed with their own lights and eco-friendly halogen heaters.
As we look forward to the Summer we just hope that we get
some wonderful sunshine which will bring the Piazza area into
its own. Please note that smokers are still allowed to smoke
in this area --- we always ask that you take care and respect
the other drinks and diners if you do smoke.

very generous donation of the umbrellas, lights and halogen
heaters, which are there for you to enjoy.When weather permits
we have now taken delivery of a Kirin Portable Bar for the
outside area, this will give you cold fresh Kirin Lager without
having to queue at the Bar.
In the Bar over the Summer we
will be running many different Drinks Promotions, in some
we will introduce you to New Wines and in other New Cocktails.
Noise travels so as a
mark of respect we would really appreciate if you keep the
noise level to a minimum and respect our neighbours when you
dine or drink outside. We also have agreed to clear the outside
area of Customers by 10.30pm every evening, so as to minimise
any noise. Often the noise when people leave can be a problem,
so please help out by keeping it down.
